Product Details

Pimaricin, also known as Natamycin, derived from streptomyces natalensis by the fermentation. Usually, It is used as a food preservative because it has strong inhibitory effect on mold and yeast.

Natamycin powder is creamy-white powder, hardly dissolve into water. It is one of preservatives permitted globally to extend the shelf life of many products.

Natamycin can inhibit most yeasts and moulds but will not change the taste, color or odor. This makes it suitable as a food preservative in a wide range of products.
