Monk fruit extract is made from the fruit of siraitia grosvenorii, also known as luohan guo extract. The main ingredient is Mogroside V, easily soluble in water.

The Mogroside V is 300~500 times sweetness that of sucrose, and it has the effects of reducing blood sugar, blood lipid and weight loss. So it can be used in healthcare products.
